Podcast AI Tools that save me 20 hours of work per week!
Especially since it's just me working the podcast while still recruiting. Many of these products make my one-man show look like a multi-purpose team.
Recording:
Riverside.fm – I personally use Riverside to record all my podcast episodes. You can also use it to make clips for social media by using the transcriptions. It's also super professionally looking compared to a zoom meeting and I can give my podcast guest multiple videos for whatever they need it for. https://lnkd.in/eijWiqcg
Editing:
Descript – I use this for editing, It transcribes the podcast like a word document and you edit it like your would any other document. They made it simple for people like myself that couldn’t figure out most of the other editing platforms. They also have a great studio sound option that uses AI to clean up a podcast and make it sound like you are in a studio. You can also use their AI to remove filler words like “umms” and “you know” https://lnkd.in/eXAxkv4p
Adobe Podcast – Currently in Beta, but you can use their AI to clean up any background noise
Show Notes and Highlights:
Deciphr AI – an incredible platform that uses AI to build out show notes, articles, and highlights just by downloading your audio or video podcast into their platform.
castmagic – A well-put-together AI tool that gives you summaries, notes, and highlights, and even has a ChatGPT like backend on each of your episodes that can ask it anything about your podcast episode and it will use the transcription to do anything you need. Stuff like “Can you write me a good hook for this podcast so I can share it on social media” https://lnkd.in/eCrW4cBr
Videos
Even though I personally use Victory Bloom for short social media videos, I send all my guests this list of options that they can use with their podcast episodes to help create content for themselves.
1. Opus Clip Professional (https://www.opus.pro/) – Probably one of the best AI video platforms I have seen
2. vidyo.ai (https://vidyo.ai/) – I have used this program for a while… I have more content than I have time to share.
3. GlossAi (https://glossai.co/) – Another well done platform that’s worth checking out.
4. Get Munch (https://www.getmunch.com/) Its solid for when you need social cuts.
Shoutout: Autopod – If you are using multiple cameras for your podcast (I don’t) This tool will save you about 10 hours of work when it comes to editing videos to focus on the speaker.
